Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Qfza (قفزة), the transcript search tool at this site. By using it you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What the service does
Qfza searches the transcript of a public YouTube video for an exact phrase you provide, and returns timestamps where that phrase appears. It is a search tool: it returns results from an existing transcript and does not generate, rewrite, or summarise content.
What you agree to
- You will only search videos you are permitted to view, and you will not use Qfza to infringe copyright or to access material you have no right to.
- You will not copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute bulk search results from the service.
- You will not attempt to disrupt the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it in violation of law.
Third-party content
Qfza does not host video. Every result points back to a video on YouTube, which is operated by Google. That video, its transcript, and its content remain the property of their respective owners and are subject to YouTube's own terms. Qfza is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
No warranty, and honest limits
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In particular:
- Transcript accuracy is not guaranteed. Automatic captions make mistakes. A timestamp Qfza returns is evidence that a phrase appeared in the transcript, not proof that it was spoken exactly that way.
- A match is not a judgement. Finding a phrase does not establish that something is true.
- Availability is not guaranteed. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
- No liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qfza is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the revised terms apply from that point. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
